Ash-storm on Þorvaldseyri
There was an ash-storm today on Þorvaldseyri. Visibility was very low and one could barely see nearby houses as wind reached 42m/s (151kph or 94mph) on a nearby farm Steinar...
With no rain recently the ash and sand blown by the wind damaged plants and trees and piles are forming around buildings. It is not recommended to be outside without proper protection such as dust masks and goggles in these conditions.
